RAVENOL DEXRON VI avtomatik uzatma quti uchun mo‘ljallangan moy Germaniyada gidrokraking asosidagi bazaviy moy, poli-alfa-olefinlar va maxsus qo‘shimchalar kompleksi asosida ishlab chiqarilgan.

Bu sintetik transmissiya moyi GENERAL MOTORS konsernining avtomobillari (GM, Chevrolet, Opel, Buick, Cadillac, GMC, Hummer, Pontiac, Saturn), jumladan, oxirgi avlod Hydra-Matic tipidagi avtomatik uzatma qutilari uchun mo‘ljallangan.

RAVENOL DEXRON VI avtomatik uzatma quti moyi General Motors J-60331 va Mercedes MB 236.41 rasmiy litsenziyasiga ega bo‘lib, GM tomonidan sinovdan o‘tkazilgan va tasdiqlangan. U General Motors avtomobillarining avtomatik uzatma qutilarida, kafolatli va kafolatdan keyingi davrda, GMN 10060 darajasidagi moylar talab qilinadigan tizimlarda qo‘llash uchun mo‘ljallangan.

Mazkur moy orqaga mos kelish (backward compatibility) xususiyatiga ega bo‘lib, avvalgi Dexron IIIH va Dexron IIE moylari o‘rnida ishlatilishi mumkin.
